Send notifications with custom content per service

Appointment notifications with service-specific content

In addition to the standard appointment notifications, you can also add content that is specific for each service. These service-specific additions can be added both on general level and on branch level. If you configure a notification addition on branch level, any addition configured on general level for the same service will be overwritten.

Service-specific content can be sent as an addition to the standard message with the variable {15}, or as a standalone message. It works in the following way:

  • If the variable {15} is used in the standard notification, the addition will be placed where the tag is placed in the message.

  • If the variable {15} is not used in the standard notification, but a service specific addition is configured, the addition will be placed last.

  • If there is no standard notification configured, the notification addition will be sent as a standalone message.

To set up service-specific additions:

  1. In the configuration panel, go to Appointments > General/Branch-specific > Service settings. Expand a service and go to Notification additions.

  2. Click Manage > Edit.

  3. Enter service-specific additions in any of the notification types.

  4. Click Confirm.

  5. To add the notification addition to the message, insert the variable {15}.

Visit notifications with service-specific content

For visit notifications, you can set up a message per service. If a service has a message configured, the message is sent as a standalone notification, i.e. the content is not added to the standard message.

To set up visit notifications per service:

  1. In the Configuration panel, go to Business Configuration > Notification Admin.

  2. Select the visit notification type for which you want add a service specific notification.

  3. Go to the Messages tab

  4. In the Services drop-down, select a service.

  5. For each language you have, click Edit and add message for the service. You can use any of the available variables.

  6. When you are done, click Save. Changes are implemented immediately.
